SUNDAY 15TH MARCH

St Patrick's
Day Parade

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Manchester will take place on Sunday 15th March 2026. The parade, which will depart from Queen’s Road, Cheetham Hill, at midday, will be an incredible celebration of our proud and thriving Irish community in Manchester. This year’s parade will showcase and champion local groups and organisations such as GAA clubs, Irish dance classes, marching bands, and pipe bands, along with a strong representation of the 32 counties in Ireland.

We are delighted to share the news that the parade will finally make its return to Deansgate, City Centre after an incredible return last year.

ST PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

THE ROUTE

Before the midday start, participants will assemble on Queen’s Road, Cheetham Hill, outside the Irish World Heritage Centre. From there, the parade will embark on its journey, following this route: Turning left onto Cheetham Hill Road, passing St. Chad’s Church and heading towards AO Arena. A right turn onto Trinity Way, followed by a left onto Great Ducie Street, taking the procession behind the arena. Continuing onto Chapel Street, before crossing Victoria Bridge via a left turn. The final stretch takes the parade right onto Deansgate, concluding at the junction of King Street.

From start to finish, the parade is expected to take around 60 minutes to reach Deansgate.

INCREDIBLE SUPPORT

Parade Sponsors

We’re delighted to share that the 2026 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Manchester will be proudly sponsored by SISK and Tourism Ireland.

Both organisations have a strong and proud history of supporting Irish events and initiatives, championing Irish culture, heritage, and community both in Ireland and internationally. Their continued commitment to celebrating Irish identity makes it especially brilliant to see them come together to support this flagship occasion. It’s fantastic to have them backing the main event of the Manchester Irish Festival, helping to ensure that the 2026 parade is bigger, more vibrant, and more memorable than ever. Their sponsorship highlights the importance of the parade not only as a celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, but as a key cultural moment for the Irish community in Manchester and beyond.

12TH - 17TH MARCH

The Irish Festival Village will be a destination pop up venue on St Ann’s Square in the centre of town. It looks set to be one of many great places to be this March. It’s got EVERYTHING you could want... the best live music, a huge screen showing Ireland’s six nations games, Manchester’s creamiest pint of Guinness and some tasty, tasty Irish themed food.
